Jason Rich
Jason Rich is the Managing Partner of Chief Oilfield Technologies and has held executive management roles in a number of companies over the years. After a successful venture in finance and upper management in the financial industry, Jason moved back to his childhood home and family business, oil. Jason brings with him over 13 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, management, operations, and business development in the Permian. After building multiple businesses from the ground up, and helping several others grow to reach the next level, Jason partnered to form Chief Technologies in 2015. Jason is focused on developing the business and identifying and capitalizing on opportunities for growth. He also plays an integral role in creating and improving upon processes and streamlining operational procedures.

John Rich
John Rich is a Member Owner of Chief Oilfield Technologies and the Drilling Superintendent RSP Permian. John started his oilfield career as a Cement Operator and Stimulator with Halliburton in 1980 before spending 21 years with Minihan Oil and Gas Corporation. While at MOG, he worked as the Operations for more than 300 natural gas wells and more than 100 oil and gas wells. He then became an interest owner and Contracts Manager at Star Drilling Corporation, a subsidiary of MOG, where he contracted and drilled more than 500 wells. John went on to hold positions as Drilling Supervisor, VP and GM of Lantern Drilling Company, a subsidiary of Forest Oil who acquired Star Drilling. During this time, he was in charge of 13 drilling rigs and more than 200 employees and was responsible for drilling more than 1,000 wells in Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas. As the Drilling Superintendent at RSP Permian, John currently manages 29 consultants and 7 rigs drilling extended reach laterals in the Midland and Delaware Basins. 

James Hattenbach
James Hattenback is a Partner in Chief Oilfield Technologies, and SK Supply. James started his oilfield career with The Western Company in 1981 before moving to WCNA. During his years at WCNA, he was promoted many times as a Cement Superintendent in different markets. He spent another 12 years as the Cement Field Superintendent, Sales and Stimulation with BJ Services. Most recently, James spent over 9 years as a Partner and Pumping Manager with O-Tex Pumping.
